We exist to build a trusted circle of independent professionals who refer each other with confidence, because we have taken the time to actually know each other's work, not just each other's business cards. We do this through intentional relationships, honest support, and a shared commitment to helping each other grow and prosper.
What we'll do together
Referrals are a by-product of trust, not a quota.
Plenty of groups will hand you a lead sheet. We would rather you knew the person well enough to put your own name behind theirs.
Learning and growing together
Everyone in the room is running something. There is a lot to be picked up from people solving the same problems you are.
Supporting each other
Working for yourself is hard. This is a room where you can say so and get honest support rather than a pitch.
Creating positivity through community

Register for a Wednesday meeting and sit in as a guest, to see whether the room suits you.
Meet the members
Get to know what people actually do, and let them get to know what you do. The first fifteen minutes are where most of that happens.
Register
Reserve your seat on Eventbrite so we know to expect you. It takes a minute and you get a reminder before the day.
Start contributing
Show up, learn the other members' businesses, and pass on the referrals you would be happy to make yourself.

Before you come
Preparing for your first meeting.
Come ready to introduce yourself and your business. Bring business cards to hand out, and prepare a short pitch, about 30 seconds, that covers who you are, what you do, and who makes a great referral for you.
Think of it as a first impression, not a sales pitch. The goal is to give the group enough to remember you and start thinking of people to introduce you to.

We want this to be a room where people show up as themselves, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, ability, or background, and are judged on the quality of their work and character, nothing else.
This group is meant to be a bridge, not a mirror: a place that connects people across difference, rather than one that just reflects who is already in the room.
Trust and referrals are easiest to extend to people who already look and sound like us. So as we grow, we will stay intentional about who is in the room, who is doing the inviting, and whether our own habits are quietly narrowing the circle instead of widening it.

When and where do you meet?
Every Wednesday from 11:45am to 1:30pm at Sparkle Professional Cleaning, 5580 Power Inn Rd, Sacramento.
Can I visit before joining?
Yes. Visiting first is the best way to work out whether the group is right for you. Register on Eventbrite for the Wednesday you want to come along to, and we will be expecting you.
What does it cost?
Whatever a seat at the meeting costs is shown on the Eventbrite listing. Ask us about ongoing membership terms when you visit.
Do you take more than one person per profession?
Ask us when you visit. We will tell you honestly whether your line of work is already well covered in the room. Everyone goes through a vetting process that includes how many seats per profession.
What is expected of members?
Treat Wednesday as a standing weekly commitment, learn what the other members actually do, and pass on referrals you would be comfortable making with your own name attached. That is the whole deal.
What happens if I miss a meeting?
You tell us, and that is it. There is no substitute-representative requirement and no cap on how many meetings you can miss in a year, and we have a virtual option to attend. If you do miss meetings, we ask that you contribute in other ways. We would rather trust each other to show up as consistently as our businesses allow than police a register.
What actually happens in a meeting?
There is no fixed weekly format. We almost always open with introductions and a quick elevator pitch. The MCs pick from a standing menu of activities each week, based on the group's time, energy, and whatever is going on that week. It keeps the meeting responsive rather than rigid.
Is the Discord open to non-members?
Ultimately no. The invite is on this page, so come and introduce yourself, as it is the easiest way to reach us between meetings. If it is not a good fit, that will be a conversation with the Discord mods.
